Do all of your products require 1S Lithium Polymer batteries?
All Altus Metrum flight computers have a two pin JST PH series connector intended for connection of a single-cell Lithium Polymer (LiPo) cell (3.7V nominal). We recommend using the batteries sold by Altus Metrum.
Some products, like EasyMini and EasyTimer, allow flexibility in the choice of battery technology, and thus do not include an on-board battery charger. Refer to the manual appendix on hardware specifications to find a table showing which products include a charger, and which allow use of other batteries such as 9V alkaline cells.
All products that are designed for 1S LiPo batteries must use a 1S lithium battery as the primary system battery. It is possible to use a separate pyro battery with all products that include pyro channels, and both TeleMega and EasyMega include extra screw terminals to make connections easier.
If you are prohibited from using lithium polymer batteries for some reason, we believe 3.7 volt nominal cylindrical lithium ion cells in 14500 or 18650 form will work, but have not tested this ourselves.
See the manual section on hooking up batteries for more details, warnings about the use of batteries not supplied by Altus Metrum, and the characteristics of the on-board battery charger many products include.
